Decorations & unique elements: 
Our save-the-dates and invitations/menus were designed by two of our close friends who are artists. The gift-card box was made by Katie’s Dad from barn-wood from her Uncle’s barn (who passed away a few years ago). Katie also ordered two personalized glass bottle diet cokes for the bride and groom – the first drink Chen ever bought Katie was a diet coke, and he saved two glass bottles from one of their first dates and included them in his proposal over 5 years later.
Any special credit or a special thank you to family members/friends?
Our parents have been incredibly loving and supportive throughout this whole process. They encouraged us to celebrate our special day in a way that would be meaningful to both of us.
Favorite part of wedding planning?
My parents, future in-laws, and I (Katie) enjoyed getting to taste all the food for the wedding. Chen’s least favorite part was missing the food-tasting day.
What you are most looking forward to?
After five years of long-distance, we are most excited to be together.
Advice for other brides planning their day?
Marry someone who will help with wedding planning.
