New

12/21/10

The word of the day is “New” …for many reasons . . .
– With the NEW Year about to start I figured it was time to give Studio 29 a facelift, thus I revamped the entire website and redesigned my blog. Big Thanks to Paul, who was my Tech Support for the last few days.  Today is the first full day the Studio 29 Website has been live, and I have gotten a lot of positive feedback! I am very happy.
– This is the first post on the NEW studio 29 blog. This blog will be very important for me because I will be able to post whatever is on my mind, whenever, along with sneak-peaks from recent sessions while I am processing the photos. Slowly I will be importing past posts from my other blog.
– Today was my last day of college at University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. I am now, officially a NEW college graduate.
– This morning I logged a NEW mile time; 7:22 🙂 Today I warmed up on the elliptical for an hour and then ran 4.51 miles. Tomorrow is a long run day. I am aiming for 7 miles. This evening I also did some resistant training on my brand new yoga mat and resistant bands. Honestly, my arms haven’t felt or looked better.
– Today I read my NEWest issue of Women’s Health Magazine. It was a great issue. There was one quote in particular that stuck out and I thought about it all day. The cover exclusive , “Come Over to the Wilde Side” by Allyssa Lee, interviewed Oliva Wilde, whom I had never read or heard of before, which makes her quote even more interesting to me. This quote was her response to a question regarding whether or not her husband becomes jealous when she locks lips with another man on-screen,

“The Confidence that comes with doing well only makes you more desirable.”

This is the push of encouragement I’ll be thinking about this tomorrow morning on the treadmill; to always push to be better than just good enough.

– And last, but not least, here is a NEW picture I took as I was leaving the Mitchell Hall today after my last final exam. It was taken with my favorite iPhone App, Instagram. I can honestly admit that the leading cause of a drained battery on my phone is due to this application. I can’t get enough of it.

ByeBye UWM, Dec 2010
