This past weekend Lisa + Matt were hitched in Milwaukee, WI at the Turner Hall Ballroom. (Only my new favorite venue in Milwaukee, no biggie)
We had a fun evening and started off with first look photos in the beautiful wooden staircase at Turner Hall, and then wandered along the Riverwalk downtown with the wedding party.
The ceremony was held in the ballroom and was decorated with scattered rose petals, candle-lit lanterns, and beautiful uplighting along the beams. The flowers, isle, and table decor was all done by Normizam Sudin. Simply fabulous work.
The ceremony had a beautiful speech about chivalry and Modern-day Knight etiquette and duties.
Brief summary; A husband’s job is to care and protect his wife. And a wife’s job is to assure her husband that she wants to be cared and protected by him.
Songs from the ceremony included some of my favorites by Sigur Rós and Iron and Wine.
The ceremony was followed by cocktail hour and the reception. Unique charms of this wedding included a Cold Stone Ice Cream station and a live band.
Enjoy the preview. This wedding was indeed superb!
