A week away from my trip to Maryland for Amy + Darren’s wedding. I seriously can not contain my excitement!

Finding the right photographer for our wedding, at first, seemed a daunting task. I went through website after website of photographers, some with just average photos and some with beautiful photos, but none that had me hooked like the way I felt when I saw Ren’s work on www.foto-29.com. I am a huge believer in everything happens for reason and we were lucky enough to learn about Ren through a family friend. We recently had our engagement photo session and prior to that day I talked to Ren about doing a few of photos, mimicking scenes from the movie “The Notebook”. I was afraid she would think I was crazy but she totally embraced the idea and immediately starting brainstorming ideas and locations to make this happen. We chose to do the shoot at a local state park and before we got started Ren meticulously investigated spots within the park and you could literally see the creative juices flowing. She had us everywhere from laying in the changing leaves to nestled in the tall grass, and up in a tree and then down in the water. We had so much fun and Ren really made us feel comfortable as well as embraced having our dogs in the pictures with us. As if the ease of working with Ren wasn’t impressive enough the final product of the photos are absolutely breath-taking and more than I ever could have ever imagined or hoped for. Her attention to detail, photo effects and editing are subtle but profound and really bring the photos to life! We are thrilled to be working with Ren and looking forward to the magic she will capture on our wedding day!

FUN fact: Amy and I have the same last name, but we are not related. But we might as well be! She and I have such similar interests, same sense of humor, and crazy love for animals!
