“I need more wall space… they’re ALL so good!” That’s what Kaitlin said last year when she opened her gallery & I’m pretty sure she’s going to say it again this year!!!!! Our most recent family photo session at Big Bay Park in Whitefish Bay Milwaukee Wisconsin was so beautiful and fun!! After 18+ years of photographing families, that kind of feedback text message still hits me right in the 💛 heart!!

The posed portraits, the giggles, the close up photo of your babies wrinkly toes, your kid running away or making fart noises or a stink face…. All those matter … especially as our kids get older and our interactions/routines with them change. It’s those hilarious split-second moments that make you laugh out loud during our sesssion and years after. And yes, even the b-roll where we aren’t looking at all attractive but, some of those sloppy shots are too good not to share!!!
When I’m editing my galleries, I hear the sound of your toddler’s laugh and dad trying to bribe them with snacks or put shoes back on. That’s all part of the process and I’ve got the patience for it. I love it all!

Q: How soon do you release the gallery after our session?
A: Typically within 2‑3 weeks. I edit each image by hand, turning it into a polished work of art! Within two weeks you’ll see part one!
Q: We’re worried about kids being uncooperative. What then?
A: Great question. I’ve shot hundreds of family sessions in Wisconsin. I’ve got tactics and I let kids lead and if we need to pause for a meltdown, I’ve got patience!
Q: Do we get all the images?
