Here’s What I Don’t Recommend When Shopping for Blankets for Your Family Photos
I know it’s tempting to grab whatever blanket you already have in the house, but some things just don’t translate well once you’re actually in front of the camera.
- Tiny prints are the biggest offender because what looks subtle on a folded blanket turns into visual noise when it’s wrapped around a shoulder or bunched up on a lap. Small patterns break up the image and pull attention away from faces, which is the opposite of what you want in family photos. Fall photos already have a lot happening with leaves, layers, and textures. The blanket shouldn’t compete.
