At Studio 29 Photography, your reveal is a private, virtual first-time premiere of your portraits, guided by our in-house Art Specialist so you can choose what you love without second-guessing everything.

First things first… what a reveal appointment actually is

Your reveal appointment is a scheduled virtual meeting where you see your finished portraits for the first time and make your selections during that same appointment.

Most clients tell us it’s their favorite part, and I get why! You are not trying to do this while standing in a Costco line or half-watching Paw Patrol. You have dedicated time, a guided plan, and someone sitting there with you who does this all day.

What you’ll do during the appointment

During your reveal + design appointment, we’ll walk through your gallery and narrow down favorites with you. The goal is simple: you leave knowing exactly what you are getting, and exactly how it’s going to look in your home.  With our in-house art specialist, you’ll choose your favorites for your heirloom printed coffee table album, plus any additional framed artwork, and gift pieces if you want to share portraits with grandparents or family. This is also where we take the mental load off your shoulders. You do not have to guess what size to order, what finish to pick, or which images work together in an album. That’s literally what we are here for.

“Do we get digitals?” How it works at Studio 29

This is one of the biggest misunderstandings in family photography, so I want to be really clear. When you choose an image for your album, wall art, or prints, you automatically receive the matching high-resolution digital file. You can buy digitals without purchasing a print, but I’m honest about this… it’s the lesser deal, and it’s intentional. I’m a prints-and-album studio, and I want your money going toward something you will actually see every day.

What you can expect the appointment to feel like

This is not a high-pressure situation. It’s guided, calm, and practical.

You’re going to have opinions in the moment that surprise you. You’ll think you want all the “perfect smiling at the camera” images, and then you’ll see the one where your kid is doing that specific little smirk they do right before they run away, and suddenly that’s the one you want big. That’s why we do this live, together, instead of sending you off with a link and hoping you will figure it out.

My opinion is that photos are meant to be lived with every single day, not archived. If you want a photographer who hands you a giant download and calls it done, I’m not your girl.
