Ren is a wonderful photographer! She took our engagement photos a few months ago, followed by our wedding photos last Friday (11/18/11). She did an amazing job catching special moments throughout the entire event, as well as getting all the photos we requested. She was excellent at getting everyone to listen and pose for photos, while being professional at the same time. We also had a photo shoot the day after the wedding to get some photos all dressed up in Downtown Pittsburgh, which was so much fun! Additionally, she took some photos of our dog, Eris. She was able to take some beautiful photos of Eris, even when Eris did not want to cooperate! We definitely plan on using Ren again for additional special events that come our way! I would highly recommend her to my family and friends as a fantastic, very personable, and extremely talented photographer.

I have had the pleasure of Ren Davis doing several shoots for our family and found her to be nothing but professional…She was early for the appointment, had some great ideas for shots, made us feel like she really cared about what she was doing and how everything turned out….and the pictures were phenomenal….What an eye, and so quick to get some online so we could view them…my only complaint – – so many great pictures I couldn’t decide and ended up getting many more than originally planned.

Karen did a family photo shoot for us and we couldn’t have been more pleased. She was fun and easy to work with, even when faced with crabby subjects–the kids–and rainy weather. She has a great eye for composition and it is obvious that she puts a lot of thought and care into the editing process. My experience with Karen at Studio 29 photography could not have been more positive. While she is not keen on suggestions of what to do with her photography, she could not be more professional in procuring a more artful and genuine feel to her pictures. One must remember that SHE is the expert and you are hiring her to be artful where you cannot be. My girlfriend wanted some modeling type head-shots and other photos done and I could not have asked for better. She uses effects tastefully and keeps the natural beauty of the composition her number one priority. I would recommend her highly for any occasion.

I was recently browsing through my old pictures and stumbled upon the pictures that were taken by Studio 29. I remember having such a great time throughout the entire process. From the initial starting point with Ren, I thought instantly that she was extremely approachable, easy to get along with, and incredibly creative. My favorite thing was during the photo shoot, Ren did not make me to cookie-cutter poses or locations I did not want. I was able to pick on location, where I wanted my pictures done. I felt natural and she did great guiding me to what I should do. Looking back at the pictures, I am reminded of her phenomenal work. I saved up my money and am looking to do ANOTHER photo shoot with Studio 29. I continue to recommend her to my friends and family! I recently had my childrens photos taken by Karen Davis. This is the second time I have had photos done through Studio 29 and could not be happier with the result.
