Bacchus Wedding Milwaukee ~ Jesse + Chris // Studio 29 Photography

9/15/15

Milwaukee is truly a magnet for the sweetest couples and their equally charming weddings. J+C’s wedding this weekend at Bacchus is all the evidence you need!

Jesse + Chris planned the perfect colorful soiree!

Personal touches like family readings, their adorable Grandma Flower Gals, intimate ceremony, chalkboard message guest book,

extensive dessert spread, the steel drum band, and their unique color palette made their wedding one of a kind!

Thank you for letting Caleb and I be part of your beautiful day!

Enjoy the preview! XO

Decoration details: The flower wall was made by the mother and father of the bride, the votives and cake stands were rented from Relics Vintage Rentals in MKE, the hanging lights were provided and put up by Barking Pony MKE.  The flowers and table decorations were assembled by Sally Vander Wyst of Milwaukee Flower Company.
Any other details or unique elements:  Groom’s ring is a Chinese jade stone set in gold, provided to him by the grandfather of the bride. It was Jesse’s grandfather’s ring for 40+ years (I’m not sure on the exact number of years).  Since the wedding was without children, rather than a flower girl, they enlisted their grandmother’s to be Flower Grandmas!!! Jesse also came up with the idea of beginning the ceremony with a toast, which also allowed their guests to have champagne to sip on during the ceremony.  The first course at dinner will be served family style “primi” inspired by Jesse’s time as a server at Zarletti.  Bolognese, ravioli, arancini, caprese, etc.  A steel drum band was hired to create an island vibe and Jesse walked down the aisle to their rendition of my favorite Beyoncé love song XO.

    Ren & Caleb —
Words cannot express our gratitude. You managed to capture this special day just as amazingly and beautifully as we remember it. You took seriously our desire for a fun and easy experience and caught these moments without ever making us feel unlike us.
Not only that, you two were insanely enjoyable to work with.
We can’t wait to see more.

This is absolutely wonderful. I love all the photos. You and Caleb have such an artistic eye. You caught so many unique emotions, angles and backgrounds. And the places you went to like the Iron Horse and the bridge are so interesting. Not your typical cliché settings. I wondered where in the world you were going to hang Jesse’s dress…now I know and it is a great pic. Her shoes too, with PBer – too cute! And you caught the moment when Chris saw Jeese for the first time with such precision that I can feel him catching his breath. I could go on and on.
Ren and Caleb, It’s funny that I was so in the moment on Saturday that I was trying to soak in everything and was just happy to be there and relieved that it was all going on without a hitch that I never cried. But here I am reliving the whole day over again and this time, I’m crying.
Thank you for this lasting chronicle of Jesse and Chris’ very special day!

Just a little FYI, Jesse’s Grandpa Clarence received that ring from his mother and father around 1954 or 1955.
